March 30, 2011 For all those wondering about the new Statue of the Knight on the Condon High School Football Field. It is a dedication to the Memory of Bryce Logan. (March 8, 1915 - May 27, 1988) Dedicated to the memory of Bryce Logan, the athletic field is a monument not only to his love of athletics and young people but also to his vision and leadership abilities. During his tenure as Mayor of Condon from 1949-1952, Bryce Logan brought together the resources and energy of the Condon community - - - the farmers and townspeople, the school district, and the state and local governments - - - and led them to transform a rough, rocky canyon into this exceptional athletic facility. This monument is dedicated to his memory. Let it be also a symbol of what can be accomplished by motivated men, women, and communites given to vision, energy, and leadership to make their world and communities a better place to live. The statue was created by Artist, Chris Myers.
March 2011 Condon Chamber of Commerce is creating a database of all
rental properties in our community. The goal of the rental listing is to
provide long and short-term housing needs for new residents. The active rental
listing will become a public document of the Condon Chamber of Commerce and will
be distributed to local wind companies and other interested house seekers. A
questionnaire went out to rental property owners on March 9, 2011. If you did
not receive one and you have rental property in or around Condon, please contact
